What makes a staffing company effective and efficient?

In today’s competitive market, it has become increasingly more difficult to differentiate one staffing company from its competitors. Prospective customers always ask, what makes you different? Before now, our answer was the same as our competitors: “We provide great customer service and we really care about your needs.” While this is very true, it doesn’t offer anything unique.

I created DES on Demand in partnership with Dan Sethi (President, DES Companies), as a new line of service that takes the staffing industry to a whole new level. Our DES on Demand service reduces time and attendance issues, no-call no-shows, initial job training and orientation, while significantly increasing our associates job quality and productivity. Not only do we offer great customer service and really care about our customers’ needs, but also now, we save their key managers time and effort, while increasing their company’s productivity and helping them to drive profits. As part of the service, we conduct quarterly reviews with our customers, giving them charts and graphs that show the positive impact DES on Demand has made with their business.

All of our DES on Demand Facilitators are professionally trained in employment laws, co-employment laws, workplace safety, and other various HR related categories. Through their knowledge in these areas, we help reduce the likelihood of workers’ comp, unemployment, and harassment claims against our company and our customers. We become true partners in business, not just another staffing company throwing out warm bodies and then calling and asking that dreaded question: “Did all of my new starts show up?” With DES on Demand, every position is filled with the best available candidate, and that
candidate is fully prepared for the assignment…guaranteed.
